MRG has a sponsorship from Altium providing licenses and cloud collaboration. Altium requires a Windows machine. If you’re not part of MRG, Altium offers free licenses for students.

1. Setup an Altium account with your school email. You should also be able to get a student license for free as well.
2. Send an Electrical lead your email to add to both the Corporate Dashboard and the Workspace.
3. Go to this link: Downloads for PCB Design Products and EDA Software | Altium
4. Install Altium using the .exe file.
5. Open Altium and login with your school email.
6. Use one of the MRG licenses. Make sure to release the license when you are done using it.
