Cable Connector Checklist

ALWAYS CHECK THIS LIST DURING ASSEMBLY - THIS CHECKLIST IS IN ORDER
- [x] Pre-solder preparations
- [x] Slide the locking sleeve down the cable
- [x] Slide the epoxy mold down the cable
- [x] Roughen the interior of the connector housing with a Dremel or similar and clean with acetone
- [x] Slide the connector housing down the cable
- [ ] Solder preparations
- [x] Strip 2cm of outer wire sheath
- [x] Strip 5-6mm of inner wire sheath
- [x] Tin the final 5-6mm of inner wires to make them rigid - avoid clumps of solder
- [ ] Check the pinouts from Blue Trail Engineering
- [ ] Note the perspective on the pinouts from Blue Trail Engineering (you will be soldering a mirror image of the PDF from the back side of the connector)
- [ ] Post-solder checks and preparations
- [ ] Check continuity between both ends of the cable
- [ ] Roughen the final 3cm of the cable with sandpaper and clean with acetone
- [ ] Prevent cable strain on the cable from now until the epoxy has hardened
- [ ] Pressing
- [ ] Prevent cable strain throughout this process
- [ ] Post-pressing
- [ ] Check continuity between both ends of the cable
- [ ] If thingy is stuck, do not attempt to remove until epoxy is cured
- [ ] Epoxy
