Design Requirements

• Controls: given desired heading and angle of attack targets determine ideal motor coammnds
• Guidance: given desired waypoint, determine ideal heading and angle of attack targets

Constraints

• Limited degrees of freedom (rudder and tailwing)

Considerations

• What aerodynamic/hydrodynamic properties do we still need to determine to have an accurate model and how can we test for these?
• Wingsail “go/no go zones”
• How to optimize tacking/gibing?
• Will station keeping need a different algorithm than waypoint following or can you just give it one waypoint and tell it to stay there
