Wingsail

• [x] CNC machining of wingsail halves
• [ ] Post-processing of CNC parts (sanding surface smooth, removing tabs)
• [x] Cut carbon fiber tubes to size
• [ ] Drill holes in mast for carbon fiber tubes
• [ ] 3D print 4-way clamps for connecting carbon fiber tubes to mast
• [ ] 3D print clamping mechanism for leading and trailing edges
• [ ] Assemble Carbon fiber tube + mast frame
• [ ] Epoxy wingsail halves together with frame inside
• [ ] Laser cut acrylic end caps
• [ ] Epoxy acrylic end caps to wingsail
• [ ] Apply faring compound to seal any gaps/dents
• [ ] Coat the entire exterior surface of the sail in fiberglass
• [ ] Use a vacuum bag to remove air bubbles
• [ ] Laser cut hole in deck for wingsail gasket
• [ ] Epoxy/caulc wingsail gasket in place
• [ ] Re-3D print parts for wingsail encoder with heated inserts
