- No advantage from submitting earlier
- How does it differ from Bills
- Will be titled “SGA FY27 Budget Request”
- Only submit 1 budget
- One initial questions are different: Events question
- If requesting money for any events, you MUST name and describe each even. These events can be referenced by name or by number in specific line items on the next page. Your description of each event MUST include the expected number of attendees
- Require proof of the event happening in past years for events not in July, August, or September
- Example: Large parties
- Do not make new sections (same as Bills)
- Anything in new section will be denied
- Line Items
- Need the item name
- Lidar sensor instead of SGH29839 for example
- Item price
- Do not put discounted rate
- Cannot pay any fees or taxes (except flights)
- In documentation show vendor and price. Do not crop the page at all
- Some variance is allowed
- Variance in brands

- Each cart item must be its own line item
- For documentation, last years quote is ok. Can allow a slight increase if you justify why it is changing price
- When in doubt, explain price differences.
- Can make justifications based on last years’ bills, receipts, invoices, etc.
- Be prepared for budgets to be reduced, expected 30-40% reduction
